Raisin Bread

 My husband absolutely love raisins! Anything that has raisins in it, he will definitely like it. So it came no surprise if he loves raisin bread. Since a loaf of  raisin bread cost almost $5  and  it's sweet, I thought why not try to make him some so he can enjoy at home. Below are my easy raisin bread recipe. It's cheaper and healthier too. Hope you will like it!


Ingredients
3 cup all purpose flour
1 pack of dry yeast
1/4 warm water
1 cup of raisin
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of milk ( I used vanilla soy milk for extra flavor)
1/4 cup of unsalted butter
1 tsp of salt
2 beaten eggs

Methods

  1. Mix 1 pack of yeast with warm water and set aside
  2. Mix sugar, salt, butter and milk until the sugar is dissolve. Then add in raisin.
  3. Add in flour, eggs and yeast and mix it well until it form into a dough.
  4. Knead for 10 minutes.
  5. Cover with clean cloth and let it rise for 1.5 hours
  6. Divide into 2 potion.
  7. Grease the baking pan and place the dough evenly on the pan. Cover with clean cloth and let it sit for another 1 hour. (2nd method :  Roll the dough into a long strips and roll into a circle and place it on a greased pan.
  8. Bake at 375 F for 20 or until it turn brown. Cover the pans with aluminium foil and let it bake for another 10 minutes.
  9. Let it cool and ready to serve.
