Ingredients
2 large skinless chicken breast (cut into big cubes)
2 tbsp of oil
4 chopped garlic
1 large onion (cut into cubes)
1 large potato (cut into small cubes)
1 can of peas and carrot
4 tbsp of Goya Sofrito for marinating the chicken
1 packet of Goya Sazon Con Azafron
4 tbsp of Goya Sofrito
2 tbsp of Goya Recaito
2-3 cups of water
Sugar for taste
Methods
- Marinate chicken cubes with 4 tbsp of Sofrito for at least 1 hour
- In a big skillet, heat up oil and stir fry chopped garlic for 30 seconds in high heat.
- Add in chicken and stir fry chicken until it is slightly brown.
- Add in potatos, cans of peas and carrot and onion and stir fry for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add in 2 cups of water.
- Add in the remaining 4 tbsp of sofrito, recaito and sazon gon azafron.
- Let it simmer in low to medium heat for another 1 hour. Add in more water if necessary.
- Occassionally stir the ingredients. Add in sugar for taste
- Turn of heat and ready to serve.
