Raisin Bread

 My husband absolutely love raisins! Anything that has raisins in it, he will definitely like it. So it came no surprise if he loves raisin bread. Since a loaf of  raisin bread cost almost $5  and  it's sweet, I thought why not try to make him some so he can enjoy at home. Below are my easy raisin bread recipe. It's cheaper and healthier too. Chicken in Peanut Sauce from Ayara Thai

This is a long overdue post. Few months ago my friend sent me this awesome peanut sauce from Ayara Thai. I made this chicken with peanut sauce and surprisingly it turned out pretty well. Hope you will like it.

Vegetarian Curry (Tean's Gourmet)

I was craving for vegetarian curry for the longest time. I never know how to make the curry paste. Lucky for me, I found Tean's Gourmet Vegetarian Curry paste at my local Asian Market here. So, I simply grabbed a pack of it and make a big pot to satisfy my cravings.

Radish Cake / Daikon Cake / Loh Pak Koh

According to my ex-lady boss, the best time to buy Daikon is between November till January / February. According to her, this is the time of the year when Daikon will be super sweet and juicy. I guess this explains why Chinese normally make Daikon Cake / Radish Cake / Loh Pak Koh around January and February because that's when Chinese New Year falls on.

Anyway, I got myself some Daikon last week and I decided to make some because I remembered my husband enjoyed having it few years ago. It is super easy and I hope you will like it.

Pineapple Tart (closed version)

One of my favourite Chinese New Year pastry is Pineapple Tart. One thing about buying pineapple tart outside is that, the pineapple tart normally too sweet for me. So with some research , this is what I made. I hope you will like it. Since I don't have the pastry mould, I made a closed version of the pineapple tart.
