1 can of Longan with syrup (separate the fruits with the syrup)
5 tbsp of sugar
4 cup of water
2 cup of longan syrup from the can
1/2 pack of agar agar (aproximately 5 gram) - soaked in the water for 20 to 30 mins
Methods
- Heat up water inthe pot.
- Once the water is boiling, pour in the longan syrup and sugar and let it cook till the sugar is dissolve.
- Add in the agar agar and let it cool until agar-agar is dissolve. Stir occasionally.
- Pour the mixture in the pan that already filled with longan.
- Let it cool on room temperature before move into refrigerator for 1 hour or more.
- Cut into pieces and serve.
I think you may hv to add more agar agar strands. 5 grams are not enough - the resultant jelly is very watery.
